Lolade Olayokun is a New York and Lagos based Emcee, producer, and a On Air Personality. With the African culture taking over mainstream media, Lolade knew it was time to make her mark. Her originality of flavors, humor and charismatic personality has influenced many. Shortly after her reign as Miss Nigeria Independence 2012 she kicked off her career in the media. She has hosted events in London, guest apperance on Radio Continental 102.3FM show "Wetin Dey" in Lagos Nigeria, and captivated many with her presence as a Red carpet host at the annual Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) in New York City. Through these milestones, Lolade became the first USA correspondent for BattaBox.com, an Online entertainment Television station based in Lagos,Nigeria. Portia Asare is an African American television personality best known as the Senior Correspondent for ACN (watchACN.com) that reports and covers U.S, African and community based events. Portia is the host for “The Conversation ” a Talk Show that features exclusive interviews with high profile community leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists in the Diaspora making a difference from politics, beauty, and religion to relationships. Amongst these are the first lady of Ghana Lordina Mahama, an aspiring Vice President of the New Patriotic Party of Ghana Dr. Bawumia, Ron Kenoly Jr AKA Bingo and many more. Portia is also the host for “Voice Afrik” a talent hunt for up and coming African vocalists that wish to excel in Gospel Music.
She has a professional career as a Health Home Care Provider at Village Care, working with patients with chronic illnesses to help rehabilitate them back into the community. Portia is the founder of Above And Beyond Initiative (ABI). A nonprofit organization serving young minority women in low income communities with professional and interpersonal tools necessary to excel as professional women in the workforce through rigorous handson workshops, activities programs and community service projects. Her dream is to take her talents and knowledge acquired across abroad, working with different populations through broadcasting and developing project leaders. Included in her 20 year plan is to have a television network with thousands of employees whilst she travels around the world sharing the journey of that young West African International journalist!
