Giselle Serwaa Sayon also known as Gigi is a take-charge Ghanaian American talk show host and media personality. She is host of her own talk show titled TheGigiShowTV with a purpose of informing and inspiring a young multicultural audience with compelling interviews. Her topics include news of the day to fashion, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and the like. Her show has a growing fan base of more than 7 thousand online viewers on social media. Giselle has interviewed people like PIX 11 Morning News Anchors/Reporters Greg Mocker and Kaitlin Monte, celebrity hip-hop artist Consequence, Presidents/CEO's of not-for-profit organizations, entertainers, fashion designers, musicians and many others.
Giselle is a graduate of the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. While attending there she was a news reporter and anchor for ATV360, a student run television broadcast station at University of Albany. Giselle has been featured in Rock Me Africa Magazine and others such as Playbac Magazine and the Ghanaian View. She is into digital media, public engagement, and is very active in not-for-profit organizations.
Nana Osei Bonsu
Nana Osei Bonsu serves as the Director of Fundraising for African Youth Excellence (AYE). Nana’s experience in hosting stems from his college days. Hosting comedy, talent and student events at the University of Massachusetts of Lowell, helped him create a platform to become an event host. His ability to get the crowd entertained at an event through humor, laughter and engaging the crowd has given him the opportunity to host fashion shows, weddings, comedy, Awards shows and many more.
Nana’s role as director of fundraising involves helping the organization generate funds needed to help AYE run its organizations programs. He is very much invested in AYE’s mission to create a platform where talents and skills of young Africans can be nurtured. Hosting the African Youth Excellence Awards (AYEA) for the second time, Nana is excited and ready to showcase the many talents that will be exhibited at the 2015 AYEA.
