AYE has established itself as a Research and Youth Advocacy Organization committed to developing and honing the skills and talents of young Africans between the ages of 18-35. AYE empowers young Africans with technical knowledge, resources, education, and workplace readiness to pursue excellence in all of their diverse interests and endeavors. To that end, AYE has established four unique initiatives to better carry out its mission and key objectives. One of our key initiatives is:
The Focus of the African Youth Excellence Awards is to highlight the accomplishments of “pursuers” in the areas of art, education, information technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and humanitarianism. The objectives are to identify, recognize, and award young Africans pursuing excellence, and create a networking platform that promotes collaboration. AYE defines a pursuer as a young person who is striving to gain or accomplish an extraordinary project aimed at highlighting Africa in a positive way. Simply put, a pursuer is a future achiever.
This will be a Black Tie Gala expecting to draw in over 200 young professionals and prominent corporate and state officials. The Gala will be held at The Mechanics Hall.
